Does it look small to you? Well, maybe because it is. X3 This was my pattern making midterm project. We were to do a design in half scale so that it could be displayed in the library on the wall. We have all these little manikins (we called them womakins. XD) to be used for fitting.

Unfortunately, I AGAIN forgot to take a picture of the finished product. What's missing is a zipper (but that didn't matter for the display. Zippers weren't necessary, though I did put one in when I got it back before I went home), and there's a layer of sheer white fabric (same stuff as the skirt) on the inside of the sleeves. Once those got put in, I had to spend ALL NIGHT before this was due hemming the sleeves and the sheer skirt. And I do not exaggerate when I say all night. Watched 17 1/2 episodes of FMA: Brotherhood to keep me awake. Ran out of time and had to go to class where I finished the last ten inches of the skirt hem while other people were presenting their designs.

Did I mention the skirt is a circle? Which means it pretty much goes on forever. Oh, and it was all by hand. A machine stitch wouldn't have taken so long, but I was doing a French hand-rolled hem, since the fabric was so delicate. It turned out BEAUTIFULLY and there would have been no machine substitution as nice, but still it was a lot of time. At least now I know how to do the stitch very, VERY well. And my teacher liked it a lot. :D

OH! This is another dress for the Ouran group! We couldn't find off-shoulder patterns ANYWHERE for a reasonable price, so I decided to do it myself. This is the dress design that will be worn by the twins, only full size, of course. The blue fabric is crepe-backed satin that was left over from when I made my prom dress in high school. The sheer white is tricot, of which I had huge amounts from my children's clothing class. Decided to use it for this since I had great excesses of the stuff. And the white bits are just a ribbon I bought for the project. The skirt will have to be different for the full scale, but since I didn't make a mini hoop skirt, this worked just fine. ^_^

Now I REALLY want to make a doll this size that I can dress up. :D And I have the patterns, too. ;)
