Merry Christmas, Cora! This really is a Christmas present, but considering she already recieved the original and already OPENED IT (grrr...) I decided to post it here!
My Midnight Addictions friends'll recognize this, huh?
Anyway, this started out the usual way, as a pencil sketch. On a 17x20 sheet (I love those things. So big. So much room to spread out. ^_^) that was pretty big. Then I was looking at it like, "Should I shade it and leave it black-and-white (like usual), or should I try coloring it, like that Bleach present I did...?" And then, I decided to ink it. Let me tell you, every step of this past the sketch, inking, coloring, and the background especially (GASP! I did a background!), I was so terrified that I was gonna mess it up! 'cause you can't erase that stuff! Which is why I normally color my stuff on the computer, but I wanted this to be special. I hope it all worked out, then!
His Byakugan eyes were actually fun to draw. ^_^ But don't ask me about his arm. I'm gonna leave it up to a Hyuga to be able to do that. >_< And as for that background, I've decided that backgrounds aren't so bad if I have something to look off of. This is from the Shippuuden scene where Neji was fighting that clone dude. Very helpful, that.

...crap...well, considering that I don't actually have it anymore, there's nothing I can do about it. This whole picture was done by hand, not digitally, so even if I still had it, I wouldn't be able to fix it. Thanks anyway!

Thanks Lem! I've seen fanart like that before, that was just so good that I couldn't resist. But then, that usually just leads me to watching the anime. Somehow I doubt this'll do that for you, 'specially since it would take you a long time to get to this point. ^_^

Hoo yeah! He's not my real favorite, but he's up there with the really cool guys. 'course I didn't like him when he was a little psycho kid, but Naruto got him all straightened out, didn't he? Now I just die laughing every time Lee or Gai embarrass him. XD

I LOVE the line-weight you have on here. Seriously, love it. The background could use a little work, but overall, the layout is nice, and all in all, I say well done.

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
