Design - Snowflake Coat

So, this one is actually in the process. I found some really beautiful dark blue wool at a fabric boutique I visited in Salt Lake City a while back that I wanted to use for this design. It's gonna be SO warm. At least, I hope it will be. Gonna be friggin' heavy, at least. On the back of the shoulders is a snowflake that I'm embroidering onto it. That's really what's taking forever, but it's gonna be SO PRETTY! I'm using two colors of embroidery floss (satin white and satin "cloud gray") and a strand of metalic silver thread as I'm stitching, so it's got this really cool effect with the different colors peeking through. The trim is a blue and silver brocade and the lining is a shiny white, so that'll be pretty, kinda hiding on the inside.

I'm so excited that it's getting colder again, because I really wanna wear this coat! I need to finish my friend's coat, first, though. Nearly done, and then I can stop feeling super guilty about it.
