And here's Aolan. Erm...do me a favor and tell me how you'd pronounce that. Cause I don't really know where it comes from and I kinda wanna know what people think about how you pronounce it.

So anyway, Aolan is another Companion, like Kali [link] and Keahi [link] created by Iliahana (IL-lee-ah-HAH-nah the goddess of knowledge). He's a hybrid between a horse (duh, again) and a swan, hence the big feathery wings (I actually used a swan picture for reference) and the black markings on his legs and muzzle, like those black markings on a swan's bill and their black feet.

And also...he's white everywhere else, so I'm not really sure about how I'm gonna color this, or even if I'm gonna. I mean, what's the point of coloring a black-and-white animal? The most I'd probably do is add a touch of color to his eyes (sky blue, unlike a real horse's eyes) and some pink around his lips, maybe. *shrug* Perhaps a background? *shudder* Tell me what you think! I might move this to scraps if I decide to color it. Hm...but the wings aren't big enough...I don't think...

Aolan is the Companion for the controller of air, Isaura (I don't have a picture of her up yet. Well, I have a picture of her when she's younger in my scraps [link] ...). She also has her own wings, 'cept hers are more like seagull wings and are more for maneuverability and quickness; she finds out the hard way that she's no good at distances, and so she has to ride Aolan to go a long way via air. His personality is the quiet, thoughtful kind with a dry sense of humor. He cares very deeply for Isaura, but unfortunately for him, she doesn't feel the same way about him.

Oh, I forgot to mention on the other pictures, but the Companions are able to control the same element as their masters, only to a much lesser degree. There's a reason for this, but I'm not gonna explain it here. Too complicated.
